Los Angeles-based urika’s bedroom is back with ‘XTC’, a shimmering single set to make your speakers swoon. Released on June 3rd via NYC label True Panther, ub blends liquid silver melodies with bruising alt-rock riffs, creating a sonic bath that’s equal parts devotion and delirium. Since moving to LA in 2018, guitar in hand, ub has flitted through genre-fluid bands, producing for fellow sonic explorers like untitled (halo) and Ded Hyatt. Their latest, mixed by Chris Coady and mastered by Mike Bozzi, wraps haunting lyrics in lush soundscapes.
