Font, the Austin-based quintet, recently unleashed their debut album, ‘Strange Burden’ via Acrophase Records. Known for their chaotic live shows, Font’s sound is a madcap blend of sampled stabs, dance beats, and euphoric choruses, all wrapped in a shiny, genre-bending package. Their lead single, ‘Hey Kekulé’ is a blistering, danceable anthem that captures the band’s wild energy. Drawing inspiration from dreams, mythology, and sheer nonsense, frontman Thom Waddill’s lyrics add an eccentric edge.
